Please read these Terms before using ClipFetch (https://clipfetch.org/, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
ClipFetch provides a web-based tool to parse public video page URLs and obtain metadata and browser-oriented download links. Supported platforms may include YouTube, Bilibili, X (Twitter), TikTok, Douyin, and others as shown on the site.
The Service is provided “as is” and may change, rate-limit, or become unavailable. We do not guarantee that any particular URL, quality, or platform API will work forever.
2. Acceptable use and compliance
You may only parse and download content you have the right to access and use, and you must follow applicable laws and each platform’s terms and copyright rules.
The Service is intended for lawful personal learning, research, and similar purposes regarding material you are allowed to use.
You must not use the Service to infringe copyrights or other IP rights, bypass paywalls or members-only access, distribute illegal content, harass others, bulk-scrape, or otherwise abuse the Service.
You must not attack the Service, probe it without authorization, circumvent security, or interfere with other users.
3. Intellectual property
ClipFetch’s own branding, UI, and original copy are protected by applicable law.
Third-party videos, audio, images, and metadata remain owned by their rights holders and/or platforms. Providing the Service does not grant you a license to those materials.
4. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is offered without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted/error-free operation.
Third-party APIs, bot checks, geo rules, and content policies change often. We are not liable for parse failures, missing qualities, or expiring links caused by those changes.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from use or inability to use the Service.
You are responsible for claims arising from your violation of these Terms, platform rules, or law, and you will indemnify the operator where applicable.
6. Changes and suspension
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service in whole or in part, and may throttle or block abusive traffic.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material updates may be noted on the site.
7. Third-party components
Parsing may involve third-party sites, CDNs, and software (including open-source components such as yt-dlp). Their licenses and terms apply to those parts; we make no extra warranty about their availability or legality.
8. Governing law
Subject to mandatory local law, these Terms may be interpreted under the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction. Venue and procedure follow applicable law.
