Welcome to ClipFetch (https://clipfetch.org/, the “Service”). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we process when you use our online video-link parsing tool.
1. Information we process
Content you submit: to parse a video you paste a public page URL. We process that URL and parse results (such as title, thumbnail URL, and available formats) to fulfill your request.
Technical logs: to keep the Service reliable, debug failures, and reduce abuse, we may log request time, success/failure, latency, IP address (or truncated/aggregated network identifiers), browser User-Agent, target platform type, and short error summaries. The admin dashboard is for the operator only.
Local preferences: language and similar settings may be stored in your browser (e.g. localStorage) and are not part of an account system.
We do not require sign-up and do not intentionally collect your name, email, or payment details (unless you contact the operator yourself).
2. Video files and storage
ClipFetch is designed to parse public links and return downloadable addresses—not to host a long-term personal media library.
In some cases (for example, server-side merge of split audio/video streams), temporary files may be created so you can finish a download. Those files are cleaned up after a short TTL and are not kept indefinitely.
Videos on third-party platforms (YouTube, Bilibili, X, TikTok, Douyin, etc.) remain controlled by those platforms and their uploaders. We do not claim ownership of that content.
3. How we use information
To provide, maintain, and improve parsing and download-related features;
To monitor abuse, attacks, anomalies, and outages;
To produce anonymous or aggregated stats (e.g. platform mix, success rate) to improve quality;
To comply with law or protect the Service, users, and the public where necessary.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The site may use local browser storage for preferences such as language.
To parse some public content subject to platform protection, the operator may configure platform session cookies on the server (managed by the operator—not your personal account cookies, unless you voluntarily provide them for troubleshooting).
If we later add analytics or ads, we will update this policy; third parties may set their own cookies subject to their policies.
5. Third parties and outbound links
Parsing depends on third-party platforms’ public interfaces and media URLs. Your download may occur directly between your device and that platform or its CDN.
The Service may link to third-party sites. We do not control their privacy practices—please read their policies.
6. Retention and security
Logs and stats are retained only as long as reasonably needed for operations, security, and debugging. Temporary merge files are deleted according to a short configured TTL.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no internet transmission is perfectly secure.
7. Children
The Service is for a general audience and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact the operator and we will address it promptly.
8. Your choices
You may stop using the Service at any time and clear local browser storage.
Because we do not offer user accounts, most data exists as technical logs. If you wish to inquire about or request deletion of logs associated with your IP (where technically feasible and legally permitted), contact the operator.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page will change. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site. Continued use means you acknowledge the updated policy.

本地偏好：界面语言等设置可能保存在你的浏览器本地存储（localStorage）中，不会作为账号体系上传。
我们不要求你注册账号，也不主动收集姓名、邮箱、支付信息等身份资料（除非你主动通过站长联系方式联系我们）。
2. 视频文件与存储
本服务的设计目标是解析公开链接并返回可供浏览器下载的地址信息，而不是长期托管你的视频文件。
在部分场景（例如音视频分离流需要服务端合并）下，服务器可能短暂生成临时文件以便你完成下载；此类文件会在短时保留后清理，不会作为个人媒体库长期保存。
第三方平台（YouTube、Bilibili、X、TikTok、抖音等）上的视频内容由其平台与上传者控制；我们不会声称拥有这些内容。
3. 信息如何使用
提供、维护与改进解析与下载相关功能；
监控滥用、攻击、异常流量与故障；
生成匿名或聚合统计（如平台占比、成功率）以改进服务质量；
在法律要求或保护本服务、用户及公众合法权益必要时进行处理。
4. Cookie 与类似技术
站点本身可能使用浏览器本地存储保存语言偏好。
为解析部分受保护或风控较严的公开内容，运营方可能在服务器侧配置平台登录 Cookie（由站长自行管理，不属于你的个人账号 Cookie，除非你主动向站长提供协助排障）。

5. 第三方与外链
解析过程会请求或依赖第三方视频平台的公开接口与媒体地址；你的下载行为可能直接发生在你与该平台或 CDN 之间。

6. 数据保留与安全
使用日志与统计数据的保留期限以实现运营、安全与排障所合理需要为限；临时合并文件按配置的较短 TTL 清理。
我们采取合理的技术与管理措施保护服务与数据，但互联网传输无法保证绝对安全。
7. 儿童隐私
本服务面向一般用户，不面向儿童收集个人信息。若你认为儿童向我们提供了个人信息，请通过站长联系方式告知，我们会尽快处理。
8. 你的选择与权利
你可随时停止使用本服务，并在浏览器中清除本地存储。
因我们不提供用户账号体系，多数数据以技术日志形式存在。若你希望了解或请求删除与你的 IP 相关的日志（在技术可行且法律允许范围内），请联系站长。
